He is not full of himself; he is just stating a fact. If you read DGM characters like a book, you should know by now he's far from cocky. Judging by the covers in the manga and the photos Hoshino has drawn for the popularity polls, It's a little too obvious which character she favors the most, even though she doesn't admit it. At least I think it's her main character. She seems to like drawing covers for him, despite saying he is the hardest character to draw (sorry that's irrelevant). She gave her main character the top hat not Kanda who was the winner of this poll (the fourth poll). It's her Fault. LOL.
